Let us take you on a mini-tour of our active adult community. As you enter the Excelsior Commons building, you will be impressed by our magnificent foyer, complete with trickling fountain, elegant decor, and peaceful background music. At the heart of our active adult community is the Reception/Concierge Desk, the information center and link to all community services and amenities. Daily dining room menus, activities, transportation schedules, dry cleaning and postal services may all be accessed through this center.

The Adirondack Trust Company branch is located just off the lobby area and offers not only a 24 hour ATM, but full banking services as well.

One of the focal points of Prestwick Chase is the beautiful atrium, or Piazza, "the front porch" of our community. Here our residents have an opportunity to socialize with their neighbors, enjoy the view overlooking the beautiful pond, and watch the variety of wildlife that shares our community.

The Community offers two distinctly different dining areas. The Commodore, our formal dining room, is available for lunch or dinner. Click here to read more about our dining facilities or to see a sample menu.

Our casual dining room, the Corner Cupboard, is open for breakfast or lunch. The Corner Cupboard also serves as a convenience store. Private dining rooms are available for our residents where they can host special celebrations or any type of gathering.

One of the most utilized rooms at Prestwick Chase is the C.P. Penfield Library. The Library is beautifully supplied with many books, magazines, and local newspapers, and showcases a cozy fireplace where you may sit and read. Also available in the Library is an on-line computer where you may e-mail your friends or family, or just polish your computer skills.

Three elevator banks make easy access to all levels of the community. On the second floor of the main building is Excelsior Styles. The hair salon offers full hair care services, for both men and women.

The Second floor of Excelsior Commons houses the fully equipped Physician's Suite. Private office space or conference rooms are available to accommodate special meetings for our residents, and guest accommodations may be reserved to accommodate your out-of-town visitors.
