This month, we have had some very exciting events and activities for seniors for our residents at Prestwick Chase at Saratoga.  We’ve offered a Stained Glass Class each week.  We have had trips to Circus Smirkis, Music by Bill Charlap/Renee Rosnes at Saratoga Performing Arts Center, and the Saratoga County Fair.

As July comes to a close, some of our upcoming events include regular shuttles to the Saratoga Race Track, Music on the Piazza on Friday July 30th, and a trip to the Saratoga Farmer’s Market on Saturday July 31st.

Do you own a computer?  Have you ever used one before?  Even if you have never entertained the thought of using a computer, many of our residents at Prestwick Chase at Saratoga have used computers for years, and some just recently have joined the technology fold.

One of the great computers out their for seniors is offered by a company called MyGait.  MyGait offers computers that are easier to use, especially for novices to the computer world.

Macs are in use by our employees at the front desk and business office, and many of our residents own either a Mac or PC.  At Prestwick Chase, we have a computer support person, Robert Braathe, who makes regular visits to the property.  He is able to design individual lessons, troubleshoot your computer, and provide you with the comfort and security of knowing that a question can be answered in no time at all.
