Prestwick residents have raised more then $4000.00 dollars for helping families in the local area make sure that Santa does not miss any child on Christmas. We originally started with 3 kids. Then as donation after donation rolled in, we called and were able to help 8 children! We shopped for the basics first, underwear, socks, pjs, jackets, boots, snow pants, hats, gloves and then clothes.
Then the electric toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner, soap, ect.. Then we start the toy list. We get almost everything that is on Santa’s list to help the big guy but we also add in sleds, snow paints, things to help build snowman, anything that gets the kids outside!!
Prestwick Chase residents have been helping out Santa and local families for at least 10 years and are more than generous. What a way to give back to the community, especially during the holidays. We all know the feeling of watching our kids Christmas morning and the residents of Prestwick are giving those parents that feeling Christmas morning!!
Thank you to so many who have made this years donations to Santa, simply overwhelming. The joy it will bring to these families and their children Christmas morning, is literally beyond words. It’s that twinkle in the eyes that makes your own heart feel warm and you know a wonderful blessing has been shared.
