HONORED HELP

Greenfield/Wilton Fire Department lended its help for a great cause. With Memorial Day approaching soon, Prestwick Chase wanted to raise a new American flag to honor all those veterans who proudly served this nation. We needed a new line strung on the pole and the Fire Department sent out a truck to help place a new line for our flag. When contacted the Greenfield/Wilton Fire Department said they would be happy to help honor the veterans and as you will see in the photos below, lent a big helping hand. We appreciate our local fire fighters and our veterans. This Memorial Day always remember freedom is never free and that all veterans gave some, and some gave their all for that flag to fly proudly.

*Special thanks to Dwayne, the firemen who lined the pole, Joyce the Greenfield Secretary who helped arrange the time, J. Ellsworth Fire Chief for dispatching lift and John Rowe for the photos.
