The residents celebrated the festive day with traditional picnic foods, 4th of July decorations and live music. It was a great turn out with family members of residents also joining in. There was endless ribs, hot dogs, hamburgers, corn on the cob and salads to enjoy.
After the picnic we had 20 plus residents volunteer to drive golf carts representing Prestwick Chase in the Flag Day Parade in downtown Saratoga Springs. This draws huge crowds and staff handed out slap bracelets to the crowd when passing by, which was a huge crowd pleaser. It was the perfect day for fun in the sun and celebrating our freedoms. Thank you to all the residents, their family members and staff for making the day filled with memories. A special shout out to the Chef’s at Prestwick for working those grills in the sun and preparing all the wonderful food!!
