Residents went over to the Saratoga Race Track to take in some premier horse racing. They were there just a couple of days before the Belmont Race. T-Shirts for the group were provided by the management. The front of the shirts had the bright green Belmont logo. On the back was a design created by Prestwick Chases Resident Relations Manager, to help promote the property to the public, while at the event.
The races were simply pure fun! The group had subs from Cardona’s Market for lunch. Prestwick Chases Culinary team also prepared shrimp cocktails, potato salad and fruit salad to send with the group so that they could munch in style while watching the races. There was plenty of drinks and snacks as well for everyone.
The group enjoyed the track, siting at picnic tables to select their bets and the thrill of watching the horses race. Thank you to all the residents who signed up, the staff and culinary team of chefs. A special mention goes out to Amy, the Activities Coordinator of Prestwick Chase. She was actually on her vacation and thought how nice it would be to spend a day of her free time with her family of residents. Amazing job, thank you Amy!! Then again, work is never work when you love what you do and its clear she loves her residents.
