Prestwick Chase received two colonies of bees on Earth Day. The two colonies were brought in to benefit both the eco system around the property and for the hopeful production of honey. The bees were placed near one of many grassy rolling fields and ponds located on the property. It is estimated that the bees often fly over more then a 2 mile radius from the colony in search of food sources. The colony is checked on at least once a week to insure they are thriving, and producing honey. Prestwick Chase celebrates Earth Day, with a buzz!
