Have you heard about the Patriot Flights to Washington DC? Veterans of World War II and the Korean War receive an all expenses paid trip to see the War Memorials in our nation’s Capital.
On Wednesday, one of the local organizers, Bill Schaaf, spoke with Prestwick Chase residents and encouraged them to take advantage of this wonderful program
The next flight from Albany International Airport will be on Sept. 20, but more are planned for the spring and some of our vets are talking about participating.
Schaaf’s presentation was part of the monthly Resident Meeting here at Prestwick. Each month, the Resident Council has its business meeting followed by a guest speaker or musician. It’s yet another opportunity for our residents to gather and learn more about our community and the surrounding area.
As we have many new residents who come to us from around the region or the country, the Resident Meeting is a nice way for them to learn more about their new home territory.
If you have an interest in learning more about Prestwick Chase, give us a call and stop in for a tour. We have appointments available seven days a week.
The number is 518-584-7766 and we’re on Saratoga Boulevard, just off Denton Road and minutes from Broadway in Saratoga Springs.
