New residents were welcomed into the community at the Curtain Call Cafe. This program invites all new individuals to attend a greeting and coffee ceremony. Resident council members introduce the new residents and list interesting life experiences, work careers and hobbies shared by them. We all know that change can be hard and it can take time to adapt and settle into a new residence. This event is such a nice way to start the New Year and help foster new friendships. Thank you to the resident Council, community and staff who help everyone feel so welcome. Nothing like a warm cup of coffee, sweet pastries and friendly faces to say WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!
